That I don’t.
What do you see?
We’ve dance uninhibited,
but I’ve let you go so many times.
You’ve been scattered in the dark.
I shone flashlights in the corners
and under floorboards—and found pieces of you.
Threads to mend the seams—tender far too long.
I ache to be whole again.
And see with your eyes.
